This was just a short little novella, so short review: The Transfer lets us look at Tobias a little more (because we're oh-so-curious about him and we still don't know enough even after reading Free Four). Tobias is an interesting character. This novella tells us of the time he chose Dauntless instead of Abnegation and decided to turn another path and get away from his abusive father. It tells us how his name is Four.

At first, I thought that this was about Tris, since my connotation for "Abnegation" is now Tris Prior. And then I made sure I was reading the right thing, because, hey, we know enough about Tris. Let's get some Tobias in here. (LOL.)

But anyway, Veronica Roth knows how to do this stuff perfectly.
